Hey, it's me.
The act of creating has always been my preferred method of expression. I received my first sketchbook at the ripe age of 10, where I started to explore the inner workings of my mind.
As an adult, I found that sketching my surroundings and painting with watercolors was incredibly fulfilling and super fun.
I love working with watercolors because they can be a little bit of everything: bold, soft, calming, and challenging. Watercolor and ink have been my primary media over the past 7 years and I've found a lot of joy in painting pictures of architecture and cartoon animal characters. My two primary subjects couldn't be more different, but that's why I like them. Painting a picture of ones' home or favorite building can elicit feelings of warmth and familiarity, while cartoon animal characters are light and fun. The opposition of these subjects keeps my work interesting.
I've commissioned a variety of pieces, from buildings to interior rooms to digital labels. To learn more about commissioning my work, please contact me via email or DM on Instagram.
